The undefeated champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. wants to make the fight with Manny Pacquiao, earlier today he made a statement through his Tweeter account:
“Manny Pacquiao I’m calling you out let’s Fight May 5th and give the world what they want to see, my jail sentence has been pushed back because the date was locked in. Step up Punk”
Bob Arum said that the Mayweather fight wasn’t going to happen this May because he felt that Manny’s cut suffered in the Marquez fight last November wasn’t going to be completely healed, but that he was going to present four different opponents for June or July. These fighters aren’t what the public wants to see, sure a fourth Marquez fight would be intriguing but do you really think a rematch against Cotto, a title fight versus Timothy Bradley or Lamont Peterson a guy many believe didn’t even deserve to win his title winning fight with Amir Kahn? Floyd Mayweather knows that the time is now, Pacman is as vulnerable as ever and the fight needs to happen before some one else beats him. At least that’s the perception he got from his fight against Juan Manuel Marquez. I hope that Manny Pacquiao will talk to Bob Arum and make this fight happen on May and kick this black ass out of the ring. This is all the Filipinos been waiting for….
